Hi, I’m Nancy Fuller! People call me the Fuller Farmer.

My childhood instilled in me a love and respect for food, farmers, and the land where it is grown. We ate food that was in season and available locally. Farm to table wasn’t a movement back then, it was just how people lived. I have always loved a party and never needed an excuse to put one together. No doubt, this was one of the many reasons why I had a successful 25-year career as a caterer.

The first event I catered was a cattle sale auction cocktail party. Think Miss America, but bovine. Catering came naturally having fed a family of eight three times a day, seven days a week— if that isn’t a culinary education, I don’t know what is! Many years later, not much has changed and my loving husband, David, and I play host for our children and thirteen grandchildren, on most holidays.

Today, I’m on a mission to put the family back at the dinner table and to teach others my rules on how to make simple meals from the heart. David and I love spending the beautiful summer at our farmhouse in Hudson, New York, but also love retreating to the warmth of Florida in the bitterly cold winter months (we’re old now 🙂 ). I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a farmer, and a cook. Food is in my blood.
